Bt8x8 4-port card: no color?

Just wanted to see if anybody using one of the cheap Bt8x8 cards with the Conexant BtPCI WDM driver had any suggestions... I can see the video from the camera fine, but everything is B/W instead of color. An IP webcam defined to Campermanent displays in color as expected - it's only the hardwired cameras that have this problem.
I've reinstalled the drivers, deleted and redefined the cameras, etc.
Can anybody give me some direction on where to go to troubleshoot this? Or is it an inherent limitation of the card?
