The buttons on the top row:
Start all motion detection.
Start the Scheduler for all cameras.
etc
These would be more useful if they only operated on cameras with scheduled jobs or motion detection setup. At the moment if a camera has no jobs setup I get an error message telling me I need to create a job, for each camera that has no job. Its a pain and I do not see the point of it.

Hello,
your objection makes sense!
But the button must be describes as
"start the scheduler for all cameras for which the scheduler is adjusted resp. a job is added"
And this is too long for this little button
I have noticed this suggestion for further updates!

Why not:
Start all schedulers
Start all motion detectors
and a third button
Start all
If you make the all buttons toggle from on to off then you do not need a seperate off button. This would look much better and leave space for new additinal buttons. eg Tools button with a drop down menu to AVI creator, media viewer. etc New buttons for start and stopping the servers.
