Still image : http://<IP address>/snapshot.cgi

I have the PD100 and I can not get any software to work with it except the built in software. (not even the one that cam with the camera.) Tried to use the CamUniversal, put in http://<192.168.0.3>snapshot.cgi, a password and user name thats on the camera, yet it comes up with Could not create DirectShow Filtergraph. Am I meant to be putting in any values for the video record codec or the audio ?

(the PD100 is the same as the PD100v2?)

Hello,

like you have seen in the post before from Max, the camera must run with CamUniversal (CamLAN, CamPermanent).
Max is the owner of Best Source Taiwan and has tested his cameras with my products.

- disable the firewall in case there is one
- please try first with disabled authentication
- try first without any video codec and audio device/codec
- it could be, that the DirectShow filters are not correct installed. Please go to the program directory, open a console and type>

regsvr32 crazypixelsbsf.ax
regsvr32 crazypixelstf1.ax

to reinstall the filters.
Then restart the program and try again!

I don't know if the PD100 is the same as the PD100V2!
Please ask Max direct for that!

WEll, I have tried this, putting in regsvr32 crazypixelsbsf.ax etc... but I get an Regsvr32 error code 0X80070005 saying that the module was loaded, but DLLRegister failed.

Must admit that I am not too sure which box to tick, the Still picture mode ticked, the camera strems ticked or the camer streams in MPeg4 format. (I am hopiong to get moving pictured)

Running Vista 32, tried turning off the firewall, left all the video recorde codes blank and I think Im signed in as an administrator.

I really must get this sorted, the bloody kids round here are smashing my place up!

OK, managed to get regsvr32 crazypixelstf1.ax etc to run (have to right click the command prompt and then run as an administratror.... thought I was going to jump for joy... but CamUniversal stil reports it cant receive a video picture from the inserted URL (see the one above) or on the "The camera Streams The Video in MPEG4" days a problem witrh directshow filtergraph.

Hello,

you have to select still picture mode in CamUniversal.
The camera is only able to support the still picture mode, not mjpeg and not mpeg4!

Please try your URL in your Internet browser first!
If you get a picture from this URL in your Internet browser you can insert the URL in CamUniversal and get a picture too!

Hi, everyone.
I have a pd100H and well for around six month, I try to make it work...
Hoping to get it work alone, it can not send a mail. Don't know why.Tried Evwill software, but the shedule record button, which open the detection motion feature is grey : Not available.
Discovering Crazypixels, I am hoping things are going better. But well work surely with the V2 pd100 camera, but whatabout the PD100?
Mark does not seem to be very keen to explanations.
How can we get this camera record after motion detection? One way would fill my heart with joy

To answer back to marc, is bsti able to provide us with such an address for a still picture? I don't think so.

By the way, there is a system update and an application udpate possibility on this camera via ip camera tool. if BSTI could provide PD100 and PD100H's users with an update that allow crazypixel software to work would satisfy me (because this camera may still be a good choice). Or is this ip camera tool option just a fake?
