I am using the trial version of CamPermanent. I save Settings and Cameras, but all settings and cameras are gone the next time I start the program. I have to do the entire setup procedure every time I start up.
Also, I have spent several hours trying to figure out how to enter a phone number for dial-up, but with no luck. I am running Windows XP Pro. The on line manual mentioned using Windows to set up phone numbers, but gave no specifics.

The saving of settings must work. It could be, that you have no write permission for the selected directory. Try to save your camera settings at a different location. Use the "save cameras as" function.
The CamPermanent dialer uses the dial-up connections from your Windows. So if you need a new dial-up connection, establish it under Windows and then select this dial-up connection from CamPermanent.
