Hello Marc
Generally Path-defaults are advisable.
For example:
PictureViewer opens always in Root c:\.
At any time, must navigate to destination.
Can`t save Path..
New Camera - Picture, Video and all others store-default is c:\test.xx
Configuring this - o.k.
Next New Camera - Picture, Video and all others store-default is c:\test.xx
Configuring this - o.k.
Next New Camera - Picture, Video and all others store-default is c:\test.xx
......
I wish a generally Path for all CamPermanent functions
Movement sensor stores many Picture.
Options in Taskscheduler for deleting or move Files are not good (for me).
I wish a option: Max folder-size for Pictures!
Delete oldest Pictures until Foldersize is 500MB for example.
Also in Video-Paths...
PictureBrowser:
Scrolling in PicturesView is very fast - good.
But i think the function of the ScrollingWheel is incorrect.
Correct this or create an Option "Change Scrolldirection".
I wish a Option Save / Load all Config-Files to / from Folder xx.
Thanks for listening

Hello,
thank you for the suggestions!
In the next update the MediaViewer will save and restore his path and screen position.

For what reason?

Hello Marc
Thanks for your answer..
Quote: PictureBrowser: Scrolling in PicturesView is very fast - good. But i think the function of the ScrollingWheel is incorrect. Correct this or create an Option "Change Scrolldirection". Idea Quote: I find nothing incorrect! I am expect the next saved Picture (with later Time) if i am scrolling the wheel to my Body. But scrolling wheel to my Body shows the previous Picture. I think this funktion correspond individual feel for different People, but not all. Quote: I wish a Option Save / Load all Config-Files to / from Folder xx. Idea
Configuring all Cameras with all adjustments needs many Time.
For new installs of OS and so son i am always saving all Programm-adjustments in my My-Documents Folder.
It`s usefully for qiuckly New-Installs.

I too would like a way to save settings. Its right royal pain when I install an update or even just move my camera to another usb port. I have re-setup everything each time. I wish there was a way to export the settings and then import them after upgrade etc. In fact my camera has been offline for months now becasue CamUniversal needs resetting up again and haven't had the time to do it.

Hello,
until I improve the program in this direction, please notice, that all camera settings are saved in the file cameras.dat and all settings regarding the program are saved in settings.dat.
If you use some cameras not often or different cameras for different purposes, you can copy the cameras.dat file in another directory or rename it and later you can copy it back.

Hello,
now I have improved the program.
From the next version you are able to create several camera files.
You can save and load different camera files. ( *.dat )
So you can save your webcams into webcams.dat,
your netcams into netcams.dat,
all cameras into cameras.dat,
your test configuration into test.dat,
or do what you want
The great advantage is, that you can also save different configurations regarding the scheduler, motion detector, picture capturing etc., for the same cameras into different files and reload if you want!
